The renewal award amount will be increased by $250 each year the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average or better in the prior year of college.

Youth Tour of Washington D.C.

Every summer, Valley Telephone sponsors one student’s attendance to the Youth Tour. This program, funded by VTX Communications, gives students a first-hand look at the telecommunications industry and the legislative process by visiting Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and other governmental agencies. They also visit famous historical sites including the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian Institution, the National Cathedral, the U.S. Capitol and the Arlington National Cemetery.

VTCI and subsidiaries are committed corporate citizens that seek partnerships that strengthen our economy, foster growth and development, and enhance the quality of life of our communities.
